The Twelfth Princess Dances

I am an old woman now, and the world outside is even older than I. When I wander its streets, I hear the children tell a fairy tale of dancing princesses. It is a pretty tale, but not quite accurate. I should know, as I was there. And the tale itself is not half as interesting as what happened afterwards...
Weak, uncoordinated and hemmed in by her family, Una dreams of a time in her childhood when she slipped through damp caves into a wonderful fairy world. Her family scoff at the idea, knowing full well that the "dancing princesses" were a hoax they concocted to bring fame and potential husbands to the kingdom; but Una knows that her memories are real. When a bitter argument precedes a dire curse falling on everyone but herself, Una must find the strength to seek out the fairy kindom once more. Help awaits her on the other side of the cave, but so does danger, and betrayal...
